ATC are pleased to announce the appointment of Lyle Webster as
Design Engineer.
Lyle joins us from Axiscades UK who are an engineering service
provider, a global organisation but with a local office a similar
organisational size to ATC. Previously Lyle has been involved with contract work
and dealing with heavy industry companies such as Caterpillar, designing and
testing products for real life (using Altair Hyperworks) scenarios applying
finite element analysis.
At Axiscades UK he developed skills in metalwork and housing
and advanced his design skills in CAD, which have proved useful in product
development work here at ATC.
With a first-class degree in Mechanical Engineering from De
Montfort University in Leicester, which included work on electronics and
thermodynamics, Lyle is a positive recruit for ATC, strengthening the technical
team’s capabilities and experience. His role to date has included furthering
current work by making improvements to existing products. Future focus includes
involvement with new product developments, particularly the water to water
project due to start summer 2019 which aims to develop this product range
further.
A prior customer service-based role provides an
understanding of the needs of our customers and OEM based requirements along
with 5 years of knowledge and experience.
With a creative flair Lyle is an avid artist in his spare
time and has been a basketball player for Leicester Warriors and Leicester Riders.
