Water-Cooled Condensers

Overview

Having a chiller with a water-cooled condenser means that you can remove your excess heat into another process water supply, moving the heat out of the lab, without the need for fans.     

This is also particularly useful where you have an application which is more sensitive to changes in flow rate, temperature, or water quality

This option can be built into ATC Chillers and is used where you have a central or house water supply:

Isolates the application from the house water supply (preventing contamination from elsewhere or damage from additives in the supply)

Has a more accurate control of coolant temperature

Allows the application to be cooled to a temperature other than the house water supply temperature

Reduces air movement near the chiller (especially useful in clean room conditions)

Water cooled KT Chillers require at least 6 litres/min cooling water at less than 25°C, with a differential pressure across the chiller of 1 bar

Water cooled K1,K3, K4, K6, K9 and K12 Chillers require at least 10 litres/min cooling water at less than 26°C, with a differential pressure across the chiller of 1 bar.
