Castors can be added to equipment to make it easier to move
as needed. Process cooling equipment can be large and heavy, making it
difficult to move, or to position for maintenance and cleaning. By adding
castors, the equipment can be easily rolled to the desired location, which can
save time and reduce the risk of injury.
Castors also provide flexibility in terms of the layout of
the equipment within a facility. With castors, repositioning is simple,
allowing for more efficient use of available space. This can be particularly
important where space is at a premium.
Additionally, process cooling equipment requires
maintenance, which can involve moving the equipment for cleaning or inspection.
Castors make it much easier to move equipment for these purposes, reducing the
time and effort required for maintenance tasks.
Most units come fitted with castors as standard for the
reasons mentioned above. However, for the KT series, W series, and larger XF
series models, castors are an optional addition.
